James H. Sweet
Jim Sweet has been helping people in the Daphne area with their legal needs since 1980. Focusing on criminal defense, family law, and probate, Jim’s practice also includes real estate law and general civil litigation. Jim has served as an appointed defense counsel in Baldwin County for many years, previously in District Court and currently in the Circuit Court.
Jim is a current member and former president of the Eastern Shore Sertoma Club.

D. Parker Sweet
Parker joined the firm in 2007. While he primarily focuses on bankruptcy, he also practices real estate law, landlord-tenant, and criminal defense. Parker has served as appointed defense counsel in the Daphne Municipal Court since 2009. He has also served as a Chapter 7 bankruptcy trustee in the Southern District of Alabama since 2011.
Like his father, Parker is a current member and former president of the Eastern Shore Sertoma Club.

Notice to current or former clients of Jeffrey W. Crabtree
Jeff Crabtree left the firm in August 2018, when our name changed from Crabtree & Sweet, PC to the Sweet Law Firm, PC. Jeff continued to occupy office space in our building until the spring of 2020 when he relocated to another office in Daphne. Since April 2020, Jeff was forced to retire from the practice of law due to a sudden illness.
